Franchise

A Street Food Icon. Now Franchising.

Twenty-four years of New York lines, a short menu that travels, and a team that waited until the model was right. We are looking for a few great operators to open Kati Roll in new markets.

Why Kati Roll

A short menu that travels, and sells all day.

Three kati rolls cut open in paper, showing chicken, paneer and chana fillings
Rolls, bowls, momos, lassi. One griddle, one grill.

Lunch, dinner, late night.

Our stores trade from the lunch line to past midnight on weekends, in paper, on the go.

Halal, fresh daily.

All meat halal, chicken antibiotic and hormone free, everything marinated the day it is served.

The skewer is the whole idea.

Consistency comes from us.

Spice blends, sauces and breads ship from our kitchen. Halal and antibiotic-free meats come from suppliers we approve.

Food that travels well.

A brand people already know.

Twenty-four years of New York press, a loyal following, and a look that is ours: orange, paper and poster walls.

We Do Veg Good, too.

The route

From Kolkata to your city.

The roll came from the streets of Kolkata to MacDougal Street in 2002, to downtown Dallas and Plano in 2024, and to Journal Square, Jersey City in 2026. The next arc is yours to draw.

Who we're looking for

Not just anyone. Just the right ones.

Our first franchise partners will define Kati Roll in new markets, so we want operators who want to build something, not investors looking for a line item. Multi-unit operators and first-time owners both; what matters is the list below.

  • Franchise or business experience in food
  • A strong local presence and a growth mindset
  • Alignment with our values and the way we treat people
  • Financially prepared
  • Passionate about food, people, culture and hospitality

The store

Small room, big wall, long line.

A Kati Roll store is a counter, a griddle and a grill, a brick wall with something on it, and seats for the people who stay. Dallas runs 2,200 square feet and seats up to 50, in a downtown block full of office workers.
